Psychopedagogical intervention grounded in neuropsychology
I work with children and adolescents who experience learning difficulties, academic blocks, attention problems, or school-related insecurity.
The intervention focuses on understanding how their brain learns and providing them with concrete strategies to improve their academic performance, autonomy, and day‑to‑day wellbeing.
I also support families so that they can sustain the process with consistency, security and clear criteria at home.
About me
I’m Rosa Portillo, a psychopedagogue and specialist in neuropsychology applied to education.
For more than 15 years, I have supported students, families, and teachers who are looking for more than simply “getting through the school year”: they want to understand, rebalance, and transform the way learning and support truly happen.
I have worked in international schools —Rafa Nadal International School and SEK International School— supporting adolescents who had lost motivation, families exhausted by ongoing school conflicts, and teachers who felt alone when facing the diversity of the classroom.
My approach is not based on academic reinforcement or repeating content. I work from an understanding of how the brain functions, helping students get to know themselves, understand how they learn, and develop strategies that allow them to move forward with greater confidence, autonomy, and wellbeing.
This space is for families seeking professional, coherent, and sustained support over time, and for students who need more than “trying harder” to make real progress.
